ඉදිරි වසර 25 සදහා ක්‍රියාත්මක කිරීමට යෝජිත ජාතික භෞතික සැලැස්මට නිර්දේශ ලබාගැනීම සඳහා අන්තර් අමාත්‍යංශ සම්බන්ධීකරණ කමිටුවට ඉදිරිපත් කිරිම ශ්‍රී ලංකා සංවර්ධන පරිපාලන පුහුණු ආයතනයේදී පසුගිය (18) වැනිදා සිදුවිය.
අමාත්‍යංශ 18 ක ලේකම්වරුන්, පළාත් ලේකම්වරුන් 9ක් හා රාජ්‍ය දෙපාර්තමේන්තු හතරක අධ්‍යක්ෂ ජනරාල්වරුන් සිව් දෙනෙකුගෙන් මෙම අන්තර් අමාත්‍යංශ සම්බන්ධීකරණ කමිටුව සමන්විතවේ.
මෙම අන්තර් අමාත්‍යංශ සම්බන්ධීකරණ කමිටුවේ සභාපතිධූරය නාගරික සංවර්ධන හා නිවාස අමාත්‍යංශයේ ලේකම්වරයා විසින් දරනු ලබයි.
ජාතික භෞතික සැලැස්මට අන්තර් අමාත්‍යංශ සම්බන්ධීකරණ කමිටු නිර්දේශ ලබාගැනීමෙන් පසුව එය ලබන මාසයේදී ජාතික භෞතික නිර්මාණ සභාවට ඉදිරිපත් කිරීමට නියමිතය.
එහි සභාපතීත්වය ජනාධිපති රනිල් වික්‍රමසිංහ මහතා දරනු ලබන අතර නාගරික සංවර්ධන හා නිවාස අමාත්‍ය ප්‍රසන්න රණතුංග මහතා එහි උප සභාපතීත්වය දරනු ලබයි.

සඳහා ජාතික භෞතික සැලැස්මක් සකස් කිරීමේ බලය පැවරුණු ආයතනය වන්නේ ජාතික භෞතික දෙපාර්තමේන්තුවටය.
ඒ අනුව ජාතික භෞතික සැලසුම් දෙපාර්තමේන්තුව මඟින් 2000 අංක 49 දරණ පනත මඟින් සංශෝධිත 1946 අංක 13 දරණ නගර හා ග්‍රාම නිර්මාණ ආඥා පනතේ විධි විධාන අනුව සියලුම රාජ්‍ය හා රාජ්‍ය නොවන ආයතන හා ඒවායේ නව සැලසුම් හා ප්‍රතිපත්ති, විශ්ව විද්‍යාල ආචාර්යවරු හා වෙනත් විශේෂඥ දැනුම උපයෝගී කරගනිමින් මෙම මෙම දළ ජාතික භෞතික සැලැස්ම සකස්කර ඇත.
ටේ සංවර්ධනයට දායක වන සියලුම රාජ්‍ය ආයතන ඒකාබද්ධ කරගනිමින් මෙම දළ ජාතික භෞතික සැලැස්ම සකස් කර ඇත.

සියලුම ආයතන සඳහා සංවර්ධන සැලසුම් සකස් කිරීමේදී පුළුල් මඟපෙන්වීමක් ලබාදීම, ස්වාභාවික පරිසරය ආරක්ෂා කර ගැනීම, අවිධිමත් සංවර්ධනය පාලනය කරමින් සැලසුම් සහගත සංවර්ධනයක් ඇතිකිරීම, සංවර්ධන සැලසුම් පළාත් මට්ටමින් ක්‍රියාත්මක කිරීමේදී ප්‍රතිපත්තිමය රාමුවක් සකස්කිරීම, වඩාත් යෝග්‍ය ස්ථානයන්හි යටිතල පහසුකම් සංවර්ධනය සඳහා ආයෝජන යොමුකිරීම, දේශීය සහ විදේශීය ආයෝජනයන් සඳහා ආකර්ශණීය භෞතික පරිසරයක් සැකසීම ජාතික භෞතික සැලැස්ම සක්ස් කිරීමේ මූලීක අරමුණු වේ.
මෙය අනුමතවීමත් සමඟ ඉදිරි වසර 25ක කාලය තුළ අප රටේ සියලුම සංවර්ධන සැලසුම් සකස් කිරීම මෙම ජාතික භෞතික සැලැස්මට අනුව සිදුවනු ඇත.
එහිදී අදහස් දක්වමින් පරිසර අමාත්‍යංශයේ ලේකම් විශේෂඥ වෛද්‍ය අනිල් ජාසිංහ මහතා සඳහන් කළේ අවිධිමත් සංවර්ධන කටයුතු පාලනය කරමින් සැලසුම් සහගත සංවර්ධනයක් තුලින් රටක තිරසාර සංවර්ධනය ඇති කිරීම සඳහා ජාතික භෞතික සැලසුමකට අනුව කටයුතු කිරීම අත්‍යාශ්‍ය බවයි.
සංවර්ධිත රටවල් ජාතික භෞතික සැලැස්මකට අනුව කටයුතු කිරීම නිසා සංවර්ධනයේ ප්‍රතිලාභ භුක්ති විඳින බවද ඔහු කීය.
ස්වාභාවික පරිසරය අභිබවා යන විවිධ මානව ක්‍රියාකාරකම් හේතුවෙන් දිනෙන් දින වැඩිවන විවිධ ස්වාභාවික විපත්වලට මුහුණ දීමටත් ජීවිත හා දේපළ හානි සිදුවීම වළක්වා ගැනීමටත් ජාතික භෞතික සැලැස්මකට අනුව ක්‍රියාකිරීම ඉතා වැදගත් බවද ඔහු පැවසීය.
එමෙන්ම කර්මාන්ත අමාත්‍යංශයේ ලේකම් ජේ.එම්.ටී ජයසුන්දර මහත්මිය සඳහන් කළේ ඉඩම් නිවරදිව කළමණාකරනය කිරීම තුලින් අලි - මිනිස් ගැටුමට විසඳුම් සෙවිය හැකි බවයි.
ඉඩම් කළමණාකරණය සඳහා ඉඩම් අමාත්‍යංශයේ මැදිහත්වීමෙන් ඉඩම් බැංකුවක් සැකසිය යුතු බවද ඇය සදහන් කළේය.
ප්‍රවාහාන හා මහාමාර්ග අමාත්‍යංශයේ ලේකම් ආර්.ඩබ්ලියු.ආර් පේමසිරි මහතා සඳහන් කළේ දැනට ක්‍රියාත්මක සංවර්ධන ව්‍යාපෘති සම්බන්ධයෙන්ද අවධානය යොමුකරමින් ජාතික භෞතික සැලැස්ම සකස් කළ යුතු බවයි. යම් හෙයකින් දැනට ක්‍රියාත්මක සංවර්ධන ව්‍යාපෘති වෙනස් කිරීමට සිදුවුවහොත් ඒ සඳහා වියදම් කළ මුදල අපතේ යනු ඇතැයිද ඔහු සඳහන් කළේය.
එමෙන්ම ජාතික භෞතික සැලැස්මකට අනුව සංවර්ධන ව්‍යාපෘති ක්‍රියාත්මක කළහොත් වසර 2050 වනවිට දකුණු කොරියාව මෙන් සියයට 60 වන ඝණතවයකින් යුතු රටක් බිහිකර ගත හැකි වනු ඇතැයිද ලේකම්වරයා පැවසීය.

Anuradhapura sacred city development committee meeting held on 05th October 2022, with Chaired by District Secretary (GA) and secretary by Director General of National Physical Planning department. Director General of National Physical Planning Department was presented by "Anuradhapura sacred City development plan" to Atamasthana maha thero and other relevant institutions.
An awareness program about the updated National Physical Plan in the year 2022 was held under the chairmanship of the Secretary of the Ministry of Urban Development and Housing on 26 September 2022 at the Ministry Secretary's Auditorium.

Advice from Minister Prasanna to Heads of Institutions
A special discussion on the progress of the budget proposals for the year 2023 was held today (13) at the Ministerial Auditorium in Battaramulla,
Setshiripayaunder the chairmanship of the Chief Organizer of the ruling party, Urban Development and Housing Minister Mr. Prasanna Ranatunga.
Heads of 21 institutions under the Ministry participated in this discussion.
Speaking there, Minister Prasanna Ranatunga mentioned that this time his ministry should present budget proposals prepared to suit the modern world.
He also mentioned that if we do not work together with the new technology, the government institutions will not be able to take advantage of the proper
results. State Ministers of Urban Development and Housing Mr. Tenuka Vidanagamage, Mr. Arundika Fernando and Ministry Secretary Pradeep Ratnayake
and heads of institutions participated in this event.
Minister Prasanna Ranatunga says.
Urban Development and Housing Minister Prasanna Ranatunga, the chief organizer of the ruling party, said today (13) that he is ready to work together as one family with the two state ministers and other officials who have been appointed to his ministry.
He also mentioned that when working as a family, no one gets a chance to gossip and hurt each other.
The Minister said this while attending a discussion held today (13) at the Ministry's Auditorium in Setsiripay, Head of Institutions of the Ministry of Urban Development and Housing, Battaramulla.
Heads of 21 institutions under that institution participated in this discussion. This program was held with the aim of introducing new heads of state ministries and institutions.
The minister also said:
I have already distributed the institutions to the newly appointed state ministers. I am a person who likes to share work. This is not three ministries. Let us all work as one ministry.
Do not divide the work. In many places, officials including secretaries and ministers work separately. It is the main reason for the collapse of governments. Don't get ready to let us down because of that. We can't be fooled that easily. Let us work as one family and set an example for other ministries. It is easy to benefit from working together. So stop talking now and let's all work together.
Also, some officials work only on the basis of circulars. Circulars are for work, not for idleness. So get used to working not based on circulars. Otherwise we will all be in trouble. But I do not stand for the officials who do wrong work.
There are officials here with different political opinions. It doesn't matter to me. I just want to work. Some strongly criticize the appointment of state ministers at a time when the country is facing a severe economic crisis. As a cabinet minister, I and the newly appointed state ministers only receive the MP's salary. We are using the same vehicles we have, we have not bought new vehicles. Staff was limited. All ministers make sacrifices. So don't believe what is posted on social media. We don't have time to answer them unless we are working now.
Most of these institutions depend on the money received from the treasury. Now we want to look at running institutions without depending on the treasury. Only then will we be successful. The minister also mentioned that even if that is not the case, the existing crises will become more severe.

Preparation of Regional Physical Plan for Eastern Province by the National Physical Planning Department (NPPD) is commenced on 01st February 2022 at Governor’s Secretariat at Batticaloa with the participation of Hon. Governor of Eastern Province, Chief Secretary of Eastern Provincial Council, Director General NPPD, District Secretaries of Batticaloa, Trincomalee and Ampara many other officers of government institutions.
